Various insects, reptiles, birds and mammals live in Qeshem. Among the mammals, gazzele and fox and among the birds one can name the white falcons and various species of migratory birds (Such as pelican and crane). The number of the local migratory birds species in the island reaches 70. More than 50 species of bivalve mollusks, gastropods, cephalopods, echiniods, crabs and corals can be found on Qeshm's coasts.One can also se different kinds of shrimps, shells, sea urchins, sea porcupines and sea cucumbers in Qeshm waters.A type of amphibian known as Gel-khorak can also be found in Harra Forest.The variety of fishes in the waters surrounding the island is very wide and different kinds of commercial, decorative fishes as well as sharks, dophins and a whale species as long as 12m can be found there.Some sea trutles in Qeshm have sometimes been seen whose sell is 2m in diameter and in summer they lay eggs on the coasts. neighboring Shibderaz and Namakdan mounts (The south coasts).
